About Mr. Stola
Jim Stola grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and has lived in the City of Chicago for over 25 years. He regularly travels to various venues in the course of his law practice.
He is experienced in both Civil and Criminal litigation and has represented clients in both State and Federal proceedings throughout the United States. He is a capable litigator having conducted numerous trials.
James has served on various Art and Museum Boards and Committees. He also has authored many articles concerning art. Mr. Stola's interest in art began at an early age; his father attended the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1920s and operated Oak Park Ceramics Co., Inc., from 1946 until 1991.
He also has vast experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions which he has completed throughout Chicago, Cook County, and Florida. James has been a certified attorney agent for over 25 years with Chicago Title Insurance Company, Attorney Title Guaranty, and Fidelity Title Insurance, performing both commercial and residential services. Additionally, he has made numerous appearances before the Chicago and Du Page County Zoning Boards of Appeals, the Chicago Committee on Zoning, and in Chicago Administrative Hearings as well as Building matters in the Circuit Court for Cook County.
